How You Deactivate Your Facebook Account

How You Deactivate Your Facebook Account, I returned house from a lovely afternoon walk with Ryland to find my Mac asking me to log in to Facebook. Funny I believed, as I never generally log out. I aimed to log in just to be welcomed by 'Account Disabled'.

How You Deactivate Your Facebook Account

I clicked through to see why:

Fake accounts are a violation of our Declaration of Rights and Obligations. All accounts must abide by the following policies:

  • You need to provide your genuine given name and last name. Impersonating anybody or anything is forbidden.

  • You are not permitted to create numerous accounts that exist exclusively for the use of Facebook Platform applications.

  • It is a violation of Facebook policy to maintain more than one account on the website.

  • Profiles (timelines) produced to represent celebrities, animals, ideas, or inanimate objects are strictly prohibited.

  • Profiles (timelines) produced for the purpose of spamming or bugging others are strictly restricted.

People on Facebook wish to connect with their real pals and the individuals they understand in the real world. Because fake accounts can damage the integrity of this environment, they are not enabled to remain on the site.

It seems that finally Facebook are actially beginning to impose their policy about numerous accounts and fake profile names. The problem is-- my name Di Coke is real, and I just have one Facebook account! And it's not the abbreviation that's the problem, as their policy states: Labels can be used as a first or middle name if they're a variation of your real very first or surname (like Bob rather of Robert).

So what occurred? Well, I believe it is among 2 things-- either somebody has reported my account as being phony, or Facebook are having a clampdown on the use of brand. Either method, I should have a warning first, before they disabled my account and removed my SuperLucky fan page. In addition to that, I can't access the 4 pages I'm an Administrator on-- and no one has the ability to contact me by means of Facebook. As a Blogger and Social Network Supervisor, this is a major blow. It's been 3 hours considering that they disabled my account and I hope this is arranged ASAP. Till then, if you have to, you can contact me via Twitter or email.

And to those of you reading this who have 2 Facebook accounts or utilize comping nicknames-- take this as a caution! If your account gets handicapped you'll require to publish ID showing your real name to reactivate it, and I do not believe a number of you have passports with the name 'Lucky MSE Turnips' on do you?!
