Facebook Timeline is the newest Facebook update revealed by CEO Mark Zuckerberg throughout the company's f8 designers conference a couple of weeks ago. Facebook Timeline changes your old Facebook profile into a virtual scrapbook which basically shows a history of your life from birth up to present. This much awaited Facebook profile pages overhaul is set to work gradually beginning today, October 1, although a number of users already got an early sneak peek of it using a basic hack.

One visible function of Facebook Timeline's design is the big "cover image" space situated at the top of the profile page. Here, users are given the complete liberty to develop their own profile pages based on their choice and reveal one's imagination.
