The Best Ways To Post Animated GIFs to Facebook with Postradamus

For several years Facebook has shied away from permitting animated GIFs in news feeds stating it would be "too disorderly". Just recently however, this decision was reversed and you can lastly begin publishing animated GIFs to your feeds.

Normally when publishing images to Facebook, you would click "Photo/video", then choose one of the many choices for publishing photos (such as the first choice, "Upload Photos/Video"):.

This works excellent for regular images and images, but if you attempt to upload an animated GIF this method, you will find that Facebook takes the "animated" from animated GIF.

Properly.

Instead, you should click the "Status tab", and paste the URL of the animated GIF into the status message. This is the exact same system used for creating a link post.

Optionally, you can then delete the URL from the status box if you do not want it to be published with your GIF.

It's a lot easier in Postradamus.
Just upload the GIF to your post!
