Giphy, a new start-up out of tech studio Betaworks, simply made it dead simple to embed GIFs directly onto your Facebook Timeline, How To Use Gif On Facebook.
If you desire to share a GIF on Facebook, very first head on over to Giphy.
Giphy permits you to browse through all the GIFs that developers have uploaded to the site. Once you find a GIF you want to share, click the Facebook icon below the animation.
A basic Facebook share box will turn up. From there, you can decide if you want to share it on your Timeline, a pal's timeline, in a group, or in a personal message.
I chose to share it on my Timeline. Click the play icon to see the GIF.
For several years Facebook has shied away from enabling animated GIFs in news feeds saying it would be "too disorderly". Just recently though, this choice was reversed and you can lastly begin publishing animated GIFs to your feeds.
