I do not know how or why it began, I simply desire it to stop. The past couple months, I have actually begun to get alerts about random good friends' activity on Facebook "Facebook Stop Notifications". It says something like, "Brenda published a picture," to which I'm scratching my head questioning, "and why do I care exactly what Brenda who I understood in 5th grade and have not seen considering that did?" - Open the Facebook app on your iPhone, and go to the profile of the friend you do not wish to get notices for.
- Tap on Friend.
- Tap Edit Buddy Notes.
- Select Acquaintances.
- Tap Done.
- Open the Facebook app on your iPhone.
- Tap the icon in the lower right corner that appears like 3 horizontal lines.
- Scroll down to the bottom and select Settings.
- Tap Account Settings.
