I have no idea how or why it began, I simply desire it to stop. The past couple months, I have actually begun to get notifications about random good friends' activity on Facebook "How to Turn Off Facebook Notifications". It says something like, "Brenda published a photo," to which I'm scratching my head questioning, "and why do I care what Brenda who I understood in 5th grade and have not seen since did?" Apparently, I'm not the only one suddenly getting notifications from random good friends. So let's determine ways to stop this! Here's ways to stop getting notices from random friends on Facebook.

- Open the Facebook app on your iPhone, and go to the profile of the buddy you don't desire to receive notices for.
- Tap on Buddy.
- Tap Edit Good Friend Lists.
- Select Acquaintances.
- Tap Done.
- Open the Facebook app on your iPhone.
- Tap the icon in the lower right corner that appears like three horizontal lines.
- Scroll down to the bottom and select Settings.
- Tap Account Settings.
- Select Notifications.
- Choose Close Friends activity.
- Uncheck Get alerts.
