I have no idea how or why it began, I simply desire it to stop. The past couple months, I've begun to get alerts about random pals' activity on Facebook "How To Stop Notifications From Facebook". It says something like, "Brenda posted a picture," to which I'm scratching my head questioning, "and why do I care what Brenda who I knew in 5th grade and have not seen because did?" - Open the Facebook app on your iPhone, and go to the profile of the buddy you do not wish to receive notices for.
- Tap on Friend.
- Tap Edit Friend Lists.
- Select Acquaintances.
- Tap Done.
