Giphy, a new startup out of tech studio Betaworks, just made it dead simple to embed GIFs directly onto your Facebook Timeline, Add Gif To Facebook.
If you want to share a GIF on Facebook, first head on over to Giphy.
Giphy allows you to browse through all the GIFs that creators have submitted to the website. When you discover a GIF you wish to share, click the Facebook icon below the animation.
A basic Facebook share box will appear. From there, you can decide if you desire to share it on your Timeline, a buddy's timeline, in a group, or in a personal message.
I decided to share it on my Timeline. Click the play icon to see the GIF.
For many years Facebook has actually shied away from permitting animated GIFs in news feeds stating it would be "too chaotic". Just recently though, this decision was reversed and you can finally begin publishing animated GIFs to your feeds.
Usually when submitting images to Facebook, you would click on "Photo/video", and after that select one of the many choices for submitting pictures (such as the first option, "Upload Photos/Video"):.
This works great for regular pictures and images, however if you try to publish an animated GIF this way, you will find that Facebook takes the "animated" from animated GIF.
Rather, you must click the "Status tab", and paste the URL of the animated GIF into the status message. This is the same mechanism utilized for creating a link post.
Optionally, you can then erase the URL from the status box if you do not desire it to be posted with your GIF.
It's a lot easier in Postradamus.
Simply upload the GIF to your post!
Thus the article Add Gif To Facebook from us, hopefully useful thank you.
