What Happens if I Deactivate My Facebook Account

What Happens If I Deactivate My Facebook Account, I returned house from a charming afternoon stroll with Ryland to find my Mac asking me to visit to Facebook. Amusing I believed, as I never generally log out. I attempted to log in only to be greeted by 'Account Handicapped'.

What Happens If I Deactivate My Facebook Account

I clicked through to see why:

Fake accounts are a violation of our Declaration of Rights and Duties. All accounts must follow the following policies:

  • You must offer your real given name and surname. Impersonating anybody or anything is forbidden.

  • You are not allowed to create several accounts that exist solely for the usage of Facebook Platform applications.

  • It is an offense of Facebook policy to keep more than one account on the site.

  • Profiles (timelines) produced to represent celebs, animals, concepts, or inanimate things are strictly forbidden.

  • Profiles (timelines) created for the function of spamming or harassing others are strictly restricted.

People on Facebook wish to communicate with their real pals and the people they know in the real life. Given that fake accounts can damage the integrity of this environment, they are not enabled to remain on the website.

It appears that lastly Facebook are actially beginning to impose their policy about multiple accounts and fake profile names. The problem is-- my name Di Coke is genuine, and I only have one Facebook account! And it's not the abbreviation that's the problem, as their policy states: Nicknames can be utilized as a very first or middle name if they're a variation of your real very first or last name (like Bob instead of Robert).

So exactly what occurred? Well, I believe it's one of two things-- either somebody has reported my account as being phony, or Facebook are having a clampdown on using trademark name. In any case, I deserved a caution first, prior to they disabled my account and removed my SuperLucky fan page. In addition to that, I can't access the 4 pages I'm an Administrator on-- and no one is able to call me through Facebook. As a Blog Writer and Social Network Manager, this is a significant blow. It's been three hours because they disabled my account and I hope this is arranged ASAP. Till then, if you have to, you can call me via Twitter or email.

And to those of you reading this who have two Facebook accounts or use comping labels-- take this as a warning! If your account gets handicapped you'll have to publish ID showing your real name to reactivate it, and I do not believe much of you have passports with the name 'Fortunate MSE Turnips' on do you?!
