I do not know how or why it started, I simply want it to stop. The previous couple months, I have actually begun to receive notices about random pals' activity on Facebook "Turn Off Notifications Facebook". It states something like, "Brenda published a picture," to which I'm scratching my head questioning, "and why do I care what Brenda who I knew in 5th grade and haven't seen given that did?" Apparently, I'm not the only one suddenly receiving notifications from random buddies. So let's determine the best ways to stop this! Here's how to stop receiving alerts from random pals on Facebook.

- Open the Facebook app on your iPhone, and go to the profile of the pal you don't wish to get alerts for.
- Tap on Pal.
- Tap Edit Good Friend Lists.
- Select Acquaintances.
- Tap Done.
- Open the Facebook app on your iPhone.
- Tap the icon in the lower right corner that appears like 3 horizontal lines.
- Scroll down to the bottom and select Settings.
- Tap Account Settings.
- Select Notifications.
- Select Close Friends activity.
