If you wish to limit posts to a customized person or group of people, such as Close Friends, you must alter the audience for each post individually, one at a time, as we mentioned previously in this article.

Once you have actually clicked "Limit Old Posts", a confirmation dialog box shows to make sure you truly wish to alter the audience for all your old posts without examining them.

• If you've shared any posts with custom audiences, this setting will not change the audiences for those previous posts. This setting just alters the audience for posts that are shown pals of pals or the general public.


• If you have actually tagged somebody in a past post, that person, in addition to other individuals that person included in posts they're tagged in, are still consisted of in the audience for that post after you limit the audience for all old posts. So, it's smart to be careful who you tag in posts.


• The Limit Old Posts setting only restricts the audience for posts you've personally shared. If you were tagged in somebody else's post, only they can restrict who sees that post.
