I don't know how or why it began, I simply want it to stop. The previous couple months, I've begun to get notices about random pals' activity on Facebook "How to Disable Facebook Notifications". It states something like, "Brenda published a picture," to which I'm scratching my head wondering, "and why do I care what Brenda who I understood in Fifth grade and have not seen because did?" Obviously, I'm not the only one suddenly getting alerts from random buddies. So let's figure out the best ways to stop this! Here's ways to stop receiving notifications from random buddies on Facebook.

Use this part of the tip to stop getting alerts from some of your pals. Avoid to the 2nd part to switch off getting Buddies' activity altogether.
- Open the Facebook app on your iPhone, and go to the profile of the buddy you do not want to get notifications for.
- Tap on Buddy.
- Tap Edit Friend Lists.
- Select Acquaintances.
- Tap Done.
- Open the Facebook app on your iPhone.
- Tap the icon in the lower right corner that looks like 3 horizontal lines.
- Scroll down to the bottom and choose Settings.
- Tap Account Settings.
- Select Notifications.
- Pick Close Buddies activity.
- Uncheck Get alerts.
