Facebook Phone Search By Phone Number - Have you attempted searching for Facebook profiles by contact number? Get in one that you understand remains in a profile or posted to a Wall-- even a profile set to personal-- and let me understand exactly what you discover.
I have my telephone number in my About area and the Facebook online search engine returns just my profile, so you understand that's the ideal one.
But here's a search I did by phone number for somebody I'm not linked to and who doesn't have their telephone number in their public profile. (Sorry for the blurring-- to safeguard the innocent victim of my research.).
1. Once again go to your account, click the [Accounts] tab and choose Personal privacy Settings link.
2. On the Personal privacy Settings page, scroll down and click Customize settings link (see pic. above).
3. On the Customize settings page scroll down to discover Contact info area and it will reveal you all the contact info and whom you allow to see it.
4. Click on any one of the contact details. like mobile number and select the type of people who can see/access it. If you want to hide your contact number on facebook entirely from everybody select Customize. (see above).
5. In the next window under Make this visible to you can choose the option Only Me or the others.
