How Long Can I Deactivate My Facebook Account for

How Long Can I Deactivate My Facebook Account For, I returned home from a charming afternoon walk with Ryland to find my Mac asking me to visit to Facebook. Funny I thought, as I never generally log out. I attempted to visit only to be greeted by 'Account Disabled'.

How Long Can I Deactivate My Facebook Account For

I clicked through to see why:

Phony accounts are an infraction of our Statement of Rights and Obligations. All accounts need to follow the following policies:

  • You should provide your real first name and last name. Impersonating anyone or anything is prohibited.

  • You are not allowed to create several accounts that exist entirely for the use of Facebook Platform applications.

  • It is an offense of Facebook policy to maintain more than one account on the site.

  • Profiles (timelines) developed to represent celebrities, family pets, ideas, or inanimate items are strictly prohibited.

  • Profiles (timelines) created for the purpose of spamming or bothering others are strictly forbidden.

Individuals on Facebook wish to connect with their real friends and individuals they know in the real life. Given that phony accounts can damage the integrity of this environment, they are not permitted to stay on the site.

It appears that lastly Facebook are actially beginning to implement their policy about multiple accounts and fake profile names. The problem is-- my name Di Coke is genuine, and I only have one Facebook account! And it's not the abbreviation that's the issue, as their policy states: Nicknames can be used as a very first or middle name if they're a variation of your real very first or surname (like Bob rather of Robert).

So exactly what taken place? Well, I think it's one of 2 things-- either somebody has reported my account as being phony, or Facebook are having a clampdown on using brand name names. In either case, I deserved a caution initially, prior to they disabled my account and removed my SuperLucky fan page. In addition to that, I can't access the four pages I'm an Administrator on-- and nobody is able to contact me by means of Facebook. As a Blogger and Social Media Supervisor, this is a significant blow. It's been three hours since they disabled my account and I hope this is sorted ASAP. Up until then, if you need to, you can contact me through Twitter or email.

And to those of you reading this who have two Facebook accounts or use comping labels-- take this as a warning! If your account gets handicapped you'll need to publish ID showing your genuine name to reactivate it, and I do not think a number of you have passports with the name 'Lucky MSE Turnips' on do you?!
