Facebook Deactivate Account, I returned home from a beautiful afternoon stroll with Ryland to find my Mac asking me to log in to Facebook. Funny I believed, as I never generally log out. I attempted to log in just to be greeted by 'Account Disabled'.

Phony accounts are an offense of our Declaration of Rights and Obligations. All accounts should abide by the following policies:

• You must supply your genuine given name and surname. Impersonating anybody or anything is prohibited.


• You are not permitted to develop numerous accounts that exist exclusively for the use of Facebook Platform applications.


• It is an offense of Facebook policy to maintain more than one account on the website.


• Profiles (timelines) created to represent stars, family pets, concepts, or inanimate objects are strictly forbidden.


• Profiles (timelines) produced for the purpose of spamming or pestering others are strictly prohibited.

People on Facebook wish to interact with their genuine pals and individuals they understand in the real life. Considering that phony accounts can damage the integrity of this environment, they are not permitted to stay on the website.

It appears that finally Facebook are actially starting to implement their policy about several accounts and fake profile names. The problem is-- my name Di Coke is genuine, and I just have one Facebook account! And it's not the abbreviation that's the problem, as their policy states: Nicknames can be utilized as a very first or middle name if they're a variation of your real first or surname (like Bob instead of Robert).

So what taken place? Well, I believe it is among two things-- either someone has reported my account as being phony, or Facebook are having a clampdown on the use of brand names. In either case, I deserved a warning first, before they disabled my account and took down my SuperLucky fan page. In addition to that, I cannot access the 4 pages I'm an Administrator on-- and no one has the ability to contact me by means of Facebook. As a Blog Writer and Social Network Supervisor, this is a significant blow. It's been 3 hours given that they disabled my account and I hope this is sorted ASAP. Up until then, if you have to, you can call me through Twitter or e-mail.

And to those of you reading this who have two Facebook accounts or utilize comping labels-- take this as a warning! If your account gets handicapped you'll need to submit ID revealing your real name to reactivate it, and I do not believe many of you have passports with the name 'Fortunate MSE Turnips' on do you?!
