How to Deactivate My Facebook Account

How To Deactivate My Facebook Account, I returned house from a lovely afternoon walk with Ryland to discover my Mac asking me to visit to Facebook. Funny I believed, as I never ever generally log out. I tried to visit just to be welcomed by 'Account Disabled'.

How To Deactivate My Facebook Account

I clicked through to see why:

Phony accounts are an offense of our Statement of Rights and Obligations. All accounts need to abide by the following policies:

  • You need to provide your real first name and last name. Impersonating anyone or anything is prohibited.

  • You are not enabled to produce multiple accounts that exist entirely for the usage of Facebook Platform applications.

  • It is an offense of Facebook policy to maintain more than one account on the site.

  • Profiles (timelines) produced to represent celebrities, pets, concepts, or inanimate objects are strictly prohibited.

  • Profiles (timelines) created for the function of spamming or bugging others are strictly forbidden.

People on Facebook want to communicate with their genuine buddies and the individuals they know in the real life. Considering that phony accounts can harm the integrity of this environment, they are not permitted to remain on the site.

It appears that lastly Facebook are actially starting to enforce their policy about several accounts and fake profile names. The problem is-- my name Di Coke is genuine, and I only have one Facebook account! And it's not the abbreviation that's the issue, as their policy states: Nicknames can be used as a very first or middle name if they're a variation of your genuine first or surname (like Bob rather of Robert).

So what taken place? Well, I believe it is among two things-- either someone has reported my account as being fake, or Facebook are having a clampdown on the use of brand name names. In any case, I deserved a warning first, before they disabled my account and took down my SuperLucky fan page. In addition to that, I cannot access the 4 pages I'm an Administrator on-- and nobody is able to call me via Facebook. As a Blogger and Social Network Manager, this is a major blow. It's been 3 hours since they disabled my account and I hope this is sorted ASAP. Up until then, if you need to, you can call me through Twitter or e-mail.

And to those of you reading this who have two Facebook accounts or use comping nicknames-- take this as a warning! If your account gets handicapped you'll require to submit ID revealing your real name to reactivate it, and I do not think much of you have passports with the name 'Lucky MSE Turnips' on do you?!
