You can archive discussions in Whatsapp. When you archive a conversation, you keep every message, text or otherwise, sent over it. The archived chats are type of concealed if you take a look at the total design of the app. Users may think they can access the archived chats from the Settings. It's worth discussing that the search bar will search both active and archived chat threads.
