On Android


1. Open the Facebook application on your Android phone.

2. Tap the menu key on your mobile phone to bring up the logout alternative.

On iPhone


1. Open the Facebook application on your iPhone.

Blackberry: Appear Offline


1. Open the Facebook application on your Blackberry.

2. Press "Facebook" at the top of the screen then the "Chat" choice.

3. Tap the menu key and select "Go Offline" to become unnoticeable on Facebook chat.

Web browser


1. Log into your Facebook account through the web browser on your smart phone.

2. Click on "Chat" in the lower best corner of the page to open the chat sidebar.

3. Press the symbol that appears like an equipment to change the alternatives associated with your chat.

4. Fill out the box that opens to change who can see you are online, selecting to appear offline to everyone or simply particular good friends. Click the "Conserve" button at the bottom of the pop-up to conserve the changes.

On Windows Phone


1. Open the "Messaging" alternative from your menu screen.

2. Swipe the menu at the top of the screen to scroll to the online threads screen.
